Pipeline defects, whether cathodic protection loss, or physical stress points can be identified by using telemetry operated by an inspector travelling over the pipeline.
This methodology can pinpoint within metres the defect, allowing more detailed inspection and repair, thus preventing a more catastrophic failure.
